WHY, OH WHY!

I have to admit that I am extremely sad that LOST is ending. I also have to admit that I cried like a baby tonight when *****SPOILER*********

















Sun and Jin died!! That was so sad when their hands drifted apart under water!!!!!
Only 2 more then the finale. I think I'll wear black that day. ;-)

Mmmmm, Good Homecookin'!

I have tried and tried and tried and tried to make normal food. Just a regular 'ole pie crust.......is that too much to ask my brain to do? Apparently. Had a great night of homemade chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and homemade cherry pie. Mmmm. Can you hear the dinner bell ringing? Below are some other desserts I've put a lot of love into:

Cupcakes and frosting from scratch with freehand chocolate accents.

Brownie, pudding, creme de menthe heaven!

Cowboy cookies with DOTS candy instead of chocolate chips - my signature cookie!

Last but not least, my pumpkin pie for christmas with candy cane cut0out crust.

Cool things around town!

It was SUCH a nice day outside yesterday that I decided to walk around the cute little town that I work in. I love vintage or just plain cute signs so here are some that I get to look at every day!! More to come when I get back out there!

I am SO sucked into the LOST tv show. I dread that sound that accompanies the LOST logo that means the end of the show. What a great series!!!

Vacation and Near Death Experiences!

I've finally made it out of the country! I got back on Tuesday from a 10 day vacation with my mom, dad and sister. We went to England, picked up my brother from his Air Force base, and toured London, Paris and parts of Germany! It was a blast but the way home was a bummer. I drove straight through from Nebraska back to Arkansas at 10 o'clock at night. Around 3am, I fell asleep while driving and almost wrecked my car! I thank God for watching out for me and for putting rumble bars on the side of the road. That's the only thing that saved me since my car was set on cruise control at 75 miles per hour. I had a great time on my trip though!! Pics below:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

Technically, I don't get a birthday this year since Leap Year doesn't come until 2012, but I still celebrate anyway!! 30 years old isn't bad. I don't look 30 (in fact I still get carded when I buy scratch tickets!!), I certainly don't act 30, and I don't feel 30. I will miss my 20's because they were gone way too fast, but I can't wait see what the future holds!!
